Close To My Heart Leadershare'10 at SeaTac

Loved this idea! The best little purse made entirely from paper- too cute.

Start saving those extra coffee cups they give you and cleaning your lids- this is the cutest kleenex dispenser I've ever seen!

What a great way to use an acrylic

And who Iwouldn't love to give this charming chipboard book for Christmas... let me count the friends :-)

It was a wonderful day spent with my super craft unit learning all about the incredible new specials coming as well as many amazing ways to use the Studio J software- play time!

Happy "Hello"s

It can be a really fun challenge to use scraps of pretty things to create cards to send to those I'm thinking of... Now this beautiful bird stamp can fly over to the East Coast to say "hello!" I love how the photo corner from Close To My Heart's Antique Copper Mini-Medley Accents Collection contrasts the prettiness of this card with a more masquline feel...
Since I had my Veranda paper scraps out, this card came together in coordinated ease with a breeze!

Fall Splendor

Getting together with one of my best friends Daphne is always fun- and productive! These are two fall cards I made after we finished stamping all my baby shower invitations...

Lunch-Time Creations

Using Topstitch papers, the Aspiration clear acrylic stamp set, and the Thank You set by Fiskars, this is my weekly card for Ray- Outside says, "I appreciate" inside reads, "all that you have done"

I've been either mailing or hand delivering a card to Ray each week for almost as long as we've been dating, it's a unique way that I can show him how much he means to me! I know he'll like this card- even if it is PINK!

And speaking of Pink, we had a cake at work yesterday which announced that I'm expecting a baby girl... we were all very excited (Not just about the cake)! I was so surprised to find my counter filled with a showering of gifts for the baby, including some adorable layettes, baby shampoo and lotion, disposable natural diapers and wipes, a gift card, bath toys, and a window shade to keep the sun from getting in her eyes. All of these items were purchased "gender neutral." Joan who was training with us got the baby a really cute pink outfit at lunch since she knew what to buy for, so this card is for her as a way of thanking her for her generosity...

Again using the Topstitch paper line, mixed with the snowflakes from the Snow Friends acrylic clear stamp set and the recipe "Fancy 4" found in the Wishes book. I love this book for its easy-to-follow directions, and because I can make the cutest cards that are uniquely mine.

Well, since I had the Snow Friends set out...
My version of the example on page 43 of the Fall/Winter 2010 Idea Book! Again, using the Wishes book, and the "Noteworthy" recipe, I found it a breeze to make four of these cards! Can't wait to give them out... I suppose we should finish Fall first though?!

Let the Fun Begin!

Yahoo! My first post on my first blog, how exciting!
I'm hoping to share some fun projects I'm working on (with pictures), as well as interesting tidbits of craft I find out there... like a fun mini-book project I located late last month and had to try for myself~ I hope my special friend who I've made it for enjoys it!
I will be hosting many workshops for my friends who would enjoy making some heartfelt gifts for their loved ones this holiday season soon~ so keep watching for more details on where and when you can attend!
Or perhaps a handful (or two) of handmade cards to send out is something you've been desiring? These fun and easy opportunities to craft can be scheduled with little notice, so be sure to let me know that you're interested.

Wishing you all a craftalicious Sunday~ and a-way I GOooo!
